We bake in a shared commercial kitchen; every session must be scheduled — unlike a cottage kitchen where orders can start anytime. 

Pies & tarts also can’t be made in a cottage kitchen; they’re Temperature‑Control‑for‑Safety items regulated by the SC Dept. Of Ag. & must be produced in a licensed commercial space. 

This is part of why our pies and tarts cost more: they’re made properly, & in small batches — never mass‑produced & no preservatives.
